Steps resetting every 99 steps

My app randomly started not giving coins every 100 steps, and now only goes from 1 to 99 before starting over. 

 

There's no update, what changed?

      Ian, I'm just sharing my experience here, but I have uninstalled and reinstalled this app quite a few times, even on different devices, as i have been using this app for about 3 or 4 years now and my points have not been affected as of yet. I can't say for 100% that they are accurate once i install the app again bcuz I have never written the number down and compared but as far as I see you do not lose any coins. Even after months of not using the app. I think they might and some points for inactive time after a while but again I have not paid too close attention to the numbers. But if you have an issue and you uninstall and then reinstall, you should be good. That's been my experience. Hope this helps! And good luck!
