I know mine are a mix of 3,000 and 6000 points. I also know I used to get $5 Barnes and Noble gift card for 1500. They then raised it to 4500 for $15. Ok. Cool. NBD. Now it's 9000 for $15. It's insane to me.
My rewards are all 5000 points for a $5 card and my friends are 3000 points for $5. Why is that? Mine have always been that much so I'm using more points for the same reward.

Its 3000 for me but when I referred friends they have to reach 5000. Maybe try having someone else you know download it that doesn't already have it and check the rewards tab and see if they require 3000 or 5000.
