What is the limit expense that you are not levied for duty free tax? Is it $1000CA per person? Anyone has trip abroad and back recently with duty free purchase?

It is CAD $200 if you have been out of the country for 24 to 48 hours (zero if less than this duration), or CAD $800 if you've been away more than 48 hours.
