So old and tall. Nature is awesome
When I first saw these kinds of trees during my walks, I always wondered what they are there for. The tree is abviosly dead but they still have not cleared it yet. Until, someone mentioned that they leave it for the wild life. Especially wood pecker, as these birds will look for bugs living in these.

Good morning yes dead trees are important to many birds. We have porcupines that strip the bark off of trees, causing them to eventually die. I guess it's part of nature's plan. Enjoy your day.
