My husband and I took a spur of the moment road trip from Maryland to Niagara Falls. Having watched so many border patrol videos, I was not expecting to be able to enter Canada from New York so easily and quickly. Okay. So, it was midweek, in early March, about 2:30pm. Still, we practically rolled through the border.

So many people seeing Niagara Falls lately. I really need to get there!

I highly recommend going off season. Sure, mid-March it's cold and icy but getting a suite with a front row view of the falls for 235 USD a night, it's worth it. For us, the complete lack of crowd also enhanced the experience.
