Never had Pho with cinnamon in it myself
Took pho at a newly open restaurant.
In this time the taste of soup was quite different since it seemed like they put some cinamon in it with a quite strong scent.
Does anybody know this is usual? For me, that taste was very different from other pho restaurants.

I like pho but why does that meat look so red at the top

It is rare beef. After being submerged into the broth, it becomes cooked a bit.
