Depends on how much toothpaste is ine container. If a lot, I squeeze wherever buy if not a lit I squeeze from the bottom.
How do you use toothpaste?
1. Squeeze from anywhere my hand reaches.
2. Squeeze from the back.
3. Squeeze from the head.
Personally, I do the 2nd way.

Yeah. I do the same. Even when it is almost over, I squeeze it with a flat tool to use everything. I am not poor but just learnt from my parents so it has become a habit.
