The statue is of a little boy who is "relieving" himself (in the way suggested by the name of the sculpture.
I was reminded of this just recently.
Manneken Pis is the name of a bronze sculpture in Belgium. It is also the name of a restaurant in St-Jean sur Richelieu, Quebec.
Why should you care? Well, said from being a really good restaurant, the Pis in Manneken Pis is pronounced the way you think cannot possibly be right. ;)
