Another place with checking it is Barq on Roncesvalles. It's a bit more upscale (i.e. you could take a date there). The sampler platters are fantastic.
The best BBQ I've had in Toronto is Beach Hill smokehouse.
They have, hands down, the best smoked brisket I've ever had.

The Rib Fests we have throughout the summer are generally pretty good too. They're not as good as what you would get in a really good restaurant, bit still a lot of fun.

Some of the really good BBQ places I've been to just have counter service. Beach Hill is like that. Barq has table service though.
