I'm sure it was lovely. Beach walks are best.
I had never done this before, but today, I walked from the Toronto Beach all the way to Scaborough, along the shore.
It was a great walk. We walked about 5km on sand and rocks, and through little woodsy areas.
There are a lot of little "secret" swimming spots along the way. (And a couple of secret swimmers who probably didn't expect us to be walking by considering their lack of swimwear.)
Highly recommended.

My wife brought her bathing suit and took a dip, but I wasn't in the mood to swim.
