Sprouting peach and nectarine seeds

Peaches and nectarines are varieties of the same species. The seed needs to go through a cold cycle to sprout, but will produce a tree that makes tasty fruit. The tree will probably not be well suited to marginal (colder) areas. Peach seeds will probably produce peaches, nectarine seeds might produce peaches or nectarines.
