Japanese proverb 5

Iwanu Ga Hana

 Translation: “Silence is golden.”

This means You don’t always have to talk or give your opinions. Maintain your silence when you have nothing significant to contribute. Being too mouthy could lead you into trouble.

While attending your Japanese class in Singapore, interact with your peers but avoid useless gossip that will not add any value to your studies.

I have always sucked at the silence thing. I'm not very good at keeping my opinion to my self.

35- I find this true with relationships as well.  Yes if u can talk easily to some1 that is good but have u ever been able to sit and not say anything and still enjoy their company

That's an old saying in general but it is true. The problem is that in practice, it can be the hardest thing any of us can do. And people will try us to that breaking point!

Yes they do. Especially if they know where that breaking point is

This is a good proverb to live by. As the old saying goes, "If you don't have something nice to say, don't say anything at all".  That pairs well with what you're saying.  Sometimes it's very hard to keep your mouth shut but inevitably it is the best.
