Feel so stupid

With my recent bad back, I've been trying everything to relieve the pain and pressure.  My boyfriend mentioned the lumbar support on my reclining loveseat the other day, and boy, did I feel stupid. I spent good money on this living room set, and didn't even realize it had that feature!

It doesn't alleviate the pain, but does make it a little more comfortable while I'm sitting here.

I just go to the chiropractor, I'd be lost without him.

That's kind of funny actually. It sounds like something I would do, have a piece of furniture with lumbar support for years and not realize it. Fyi, I had a back problem for years after a car accident and a chiropractor didn't do me any good at all. It wasn't until I started doing weight training and improving my posture through core exercise that I became pain free. I don't know if that would be useful information to you, but I thought I'd share it.

I'm a runner/walker and do strength work as well. This is very much not the norm for me.

It's glad you're feeling a little better. Stretch often and get your posture corrected.

Better to feel stupid and now be comfortable! LOL Seriously, I'm glad he pointed that out to you. I'm sure now life will be a little bit easier on your back. I pray that you will continue to heal and get better.

That sounds awful for your back. Your back is misaligned and lumbar support is just keeping it misaligned.
Laying on the hard floor, flat on your back would be the best. Aligns your spine. But make sure you can get back up 😆
