Michelin is good as well as the other well known brand. However if you think about the quality to price, hankook tire is the best option. That's from South Korea.
What's a good brand of tires that you know from experience last a long time? I'm looking into getting a new set and want to make sure they last.

There's one more well known Korean brand, Nexen, but I think Hankook tire has way better quality. So I recommend Hankook tire.

So much depends on your car and the type of driving that you do. Ask your local tire dealer ... they should give you a couple of options.
