19.6 - mommy dearest

If I had to pick one word to describe my mom, and I couldn't be vulgar, this would be the word. I am trying to remember even 1 time that she hugged me... and the only one that comes to mind is me asking for a hug after breaking up with my long-term partner; it was stiff and weird and did not make me feel better.

I am so sorry to hear that she wasn't a supportive and kind mother.

That's sad! I always love on my kids they hate it but if I don't you can tell. Have you told your mom how you felt?

19.99 - Yes, in therapy. And was told how I wasn't the type of daughter she expected. Later she let me know I ruined her life. Karma's a b*tch since she ruined mine, too.

I'm sorry.  I didn't have loving parents either, but I now believe in Jesus and his unconditional love for me has been so healing!
