My wife and I did the 5K Foam Fest Fun Run this past weekend.
This is a five kilometer (hence the name) obstacle course. There's foam, there's mud, there's climbing and crawling. Also running and walking.

It was definitely a workout, but the organisers make a point of saying that it is for fun, so you can take it as slowly as you like and you can skip any obstacles that you don't want to try.

Sounds like fun. We participate in the Goliathon twice a year. No foam, but plenty of obstacles, dyed water and sometimes mud.

Goliathon is a New Jersey exclusive and the obstacles are designed like American Ninja Warrior obstacles.
