Weirdly, this is not the only Holmes story with the creatures from Doctor Moreau that I've read!
This is another fun mash-up. It is the third book in the Classified Dossiers" series of Sherlock Holmes novels by Christian Klaver.
Not only does it feature Holmes meeting with Dorian Gray, it also has some of the best men from The Island of Doctor Moreau.
I'm only about a third of the way though it, but it's definitely enjoyable.

The previous books in the series are: Sherlock Holmes and Dracula And Sherlock Holmes and Mr. Hyde

Both of the previous books also featured characters and monsters from the H.P. Lovecraft stories. The Mr. Hyde book also had the Invisible Man and The Wolfman I don't know why Frankenstein and his creation haven't shown up.

I read the original Dracula by Bram Stoker a long time ago. It was really great.
