Interesting as I have never seen that message. How many steps did you have in before you did the Un and reinstall?
Un-installed the app and reinstalled. My steps for the day decreased over 500 steps. I collected one coin. TheN I got a message saying I collected the maximum number of coins for the day. I guess I have to wait and see what happens next.
