National day calendar

Today is national forgiveness, hotel employee, pastor spouses, burnt ends, acne positivity, no rhyme (or reason), and chicken boy day. Chicken boy is a 22 ft tall fiberglass statue of a boy with a head of a chicken that can be seen along Route 66. It's named after the former 1960s Chicken Boy Restaurant and has become known as the "Statue of Liberty of Los Angeles". In 2010,  then California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger recognized the statue with the Governor's Historic Preservation Award.
