This is so true…

When I grew up my cousins were my best friends but as I watch my niece and nephews grow up. Their cousins are definitely not their best friends. Sad but true. This is so true…

    If you had the benefit of cousins who lived close enough to be also your best friends, that was a blessing. It started out that way for my sister and me and our first cousins, but then the divorces happened, and that changed everything.

    This is true. My kids know their first cousins, but wouldn't know most of their dad's cousins or any of our aunts and uncles.

    My kids know quite a few of their first and second cousins and are friends with them but since the cousins are so much older (they're teens and my oldest is 9) they only hang out once in a while (the cousins are awesome and ask when they can hang out)
