Very true. There are very few community centered jobs any more. At least driving, you can deduct some of your mileage off you taxes. Can't do that with public transportation, unfortunately.
If you commute to work every day, transit fees can be expensive! The amount I've spent on transit in the last 10 years ccould have bought me a car! ๐ฅฒ It would be even more if I drove and paid for parking.
