I use a conditioning shampoo and also a leave in conditioner for styling. I used to think the leave-in would make my hair greasy but it doesn't so I must just have dry hair, lol.
Just wondering, are you a shampoo only or a shampoo and conditioner person? I find that I have better success with my hairstyle when I shampoo and condition. The only problem is, I always seem to have more conditioner left, then shampoo when it comes to the end of the bottles.

I have to use both shampoo and conditioner. My hair is kinda thick.

What seems to make the biggest difference for me is not whether I use conditioner but whether I rinse well with cold water.

My hair is curly so I have to change up my routine. I use a curl cream a lot of the time which is a leave in and it replaces conditioner.

I shampoo, use a hair mask instead of conditioner, and rinse it out. Then put some leave-in conditioner
