What a beautiful sight!
Today is full moon is called Harvest Moon. September's full harvest moon to appear after sunset today September 17. It reaches peak illustrates 10.34 pm Eastern time. This year it's also called Super moon.

Just copied the information below!Why Is It Called the Harvest Moon? Usually, Full Moon names reflect the time of year they happen. And, true enough, the Harvest Moon graces the skies in the harvest season in the Northern Hemisphere. There is also an astronomical reason why the Full Moon closest to the autumnal equinox is called the Harvest Moon.
