Better cooking oil

 

It's been a couple years since I stopped using vegetable oil and cheap olive oil for everything. These days I use either quality olive oils, sesame oil, sometimes coconut, quality butter and ghee. I have noticed remarkable difference in the tastes of my food. Each oil has its own flavor profile. I love olive oil for roasing, ghee for popcorn, and sesame oil for stir fries and garnish

    I've using EVOL and avocado oil a lot. I keep coconut oil around as well. I'll have to try ghee for popcorn. I love butter flavor.

      Ghee will add that butter flavor without sogging up the popcorn, and it also has a higher smoke point so you can use it to pop the kernels as well (inadvisable to pop with normal butter)

    I use olive oil most of time.
