I would prefer to do it ahead of time with plenty of time to go
Do you prefer moving within a tight time frame e.g. 1-2 days or within more time like 1 month so you can move bits by bits?
I prefer to have more time because I need to buy new furniture and I dont have a van so will need to move bits by bits. Otherwise I will need to rent a van or pay for moving company to move my stuffs.

Moving home is stressful especially if you have a tons of stuff. If I am moving far away, I'd do it all at once. If not too far, I prefer to give it a month.

I am currently moving. And it's bit by bit. Usually after work, we pass by my old place to pick up stuffs then go home. Saves us gas since the old place is in between work and new home

I really think it depends on the situation. Some places you only have so long to get out. And if you're moving from home to a friend's house, in bits would be more feasible. I'm glad for you that you can move a little at a time. It sounds like that's working out for you very well.

Oh yeah definitely I’d much rather have a bigger time frame so I can properly organize everything. Although I feel if you are on a time crunch then you have less of a chance to over pack and bring unnecessary stuff with you. I’m actually hoping to start packing soon since I will be moving in 1-2 months but I know I’m going to have a hard time with that because I LOVE bringing my unnecessary things with me 😂😂
