Hello, yes, this is a legitimate app. I have redeemed multiple Walmart gift cards. I also have another app that pays you by walking. It is called Walktask.
Does this app actually give you a gift card? I'm not giving any bank info due to security concerns

Yes the app is legit but if you are from Europe it's no longer a useful app. I've personally redeemed around $250 in Amazon gift cards
