Steps

I am having a problem with my steps as well I mean I literally walk to my corner store and back to my apartment and all it counted was eight steps and I know it's more than eight steps just to get to the store so I don't know what's going on with the app but I've had this app for years and it just gets worse and worse with the counting of steps that is recorded for me. What do I do about this problem? Who do I speak to?
