I managed to find a Nespresso Vertuoline machine at a local Value Village (thrift shop) for $16. (That's 16 CAD, btw).
I snatched it up immediately. Even if it didn't work, it was only sixteen bucks for a machine that goes for nearly $300.
I took it home, cleaned it up, ran it through descaling process, and then made myself some coffee. It was fantastic.
Best 16 bucks I had spent in a long time. (The price of the coffee itself, however...)
On the same day, at the same Value Village, I also found a Starbucks Verismo machine. It was also only 16 bucks. I considred buying that one too. Luckily, I decided not to. As it turns out the Verismo was no longer being suported and Starbucks was no longer selling coffee for it.
