18.3 - I've not had it done either. But I am an elementary school teacher and often have students come in from orthodontic appointments with severe mouth pain. There is pain when braces are applied but also every time they are adjusted/tightened.
My children absolutely hated having the braces in.

96. It's not bad. The teeth are only moving millimeters at a time. The teeth are sore for a few days but not super painful. Nothing Tylenol will help. That picture is probably over 2 years

I have done it and it is a miracle but many uncomfortable times when eating. Great smile was worth all the pains
