Pregunta sobre la dieta cetogénica

En esta pirámide de la dieta cetogénica, no veo la pasta. ¿Dónde crees que debería estar? ¿Entre los alimentos que se deben evitar?

Although pasta is also a carbohydrate, there are several reasons why it is beneficial for weight loss. First, it is high in protein. This is because the main ingredient of pasta noodles is ‘durum wheat semolina’. Durum wheat is a type of wheat that is resistant to high temperatures and is not affected by drought, and has a higher protein content than other grains. If the protein content of rice is 6-8%, durum wheat is 13-16%. Protein is considered the key to dieting because it has a high satiety ratio compared to the calories.  Even on a keto diet, you will be able to succeed more easily if you eat a moderate amount of good carbohydrates, such as pasta, rather than completely cutting out carbohydrates.

Yes, pasta is typically not included in the Keto diet as it is high in carbohydrates. It would likely be positioned in the foods to avoid category, along with other high-carb foods like bread, rice, and sugary snacks. It is recommended to focus on low-carb, nutrient-dense foods like vegetables, meats, and healthy fats while following the Keto diet. 😊

You will want to avoid traditional pasta due to the carb content. You could try hearts of palm pasta as an alternative.

Pasta has too many carbs to fit in a keto diet.

You're absolutely right! In a ketogenic food pyramid, pasta would definitely be positioned among the foods to avoid

Pasta is not usually in the keto diet. It is kind of like a "bread" on your pyramid.
