¿Se puede corregir la presión arterial alta simplemente evitando la sal por completo?

A mi madre le diagnosticaron hipertensión. Tiene que tomar una pastilla a diario y, en casa, todos dejamos de añadir sal a la comida para facilitar la preparación.

 

Todos nos acostumbramos, pero aun así mi madre tuvo que seguir tomando la píldora. Así que mi pregunta es si existe alguna solución "natural" para corregir este desequilibrio, como evitar la sal, o si es inevitable tomar medicamentos.

    Avoiding salt entirely is also not advisable. Our body naturally needs salt. Just not too much. 
    
    As for natural remedies,  chew raw garlic but that is if she can tolerate it. It has to be chewed to be effective. 
    
    The effectiveness of going all natural is not so reliable also. I mean even when you take medication for it, it will still depend on the person because some would experience worse side effects on one drug compared to another. The best would be to talk to her doctor about it and keep monitoring your mom's blood pressure. I hope this helps.

    Having a healthy diet and exercising regularly can help lower high blood pressure. Simply avoiding salt is not the only way to improve. However it depends on your case so best to consult with the doctor.

    No it won't affect your high blood pressure and you shouldn't avoid salty completely as it is a crucial part of our diet. You need salt to function and have a healthy body. Any salt that is removed from the body (like exercise)should be replaced with electrolytes.

    Most patients need to control the salt less than 5g but also can have some food to lower that. For example banana that can provide potassium that lower blood pressure.

    Per chi soffre di pressione veramente alta, presumo che eliminare solo il sale non basti a far rientrare nella norma la pressione. Dipende da tanti fattori, anche fisici e emotivi
