¿Es mejor controlar la presión arterial alta con dieta o con medicamentos?

Si le han diagnosticado presión arterial alta pero no grave, ¿es mejor probar con dieta en lugar de recurrir directamente a la medicación?

Tengo curiosidad por saber si alguien puede evitar la medicación si su condición no es demasiado grave.

Por ejemplo, evitar los alimentos salados.

¿Es seguro tomar medicamentos incluso si tengo presión arterial alta que no es crítica?

    You need to eat a healthy diet anyway but exercise will definitely help. Meditation is calming for the mind so that can help you with stress which helps with high blood pressure.

    Definitely diet and exercise helps but in some case you will be put on medication. I have diabetes and that cause high blood pressure. I tried exercise and diet it didn't do much for my numbers so he put me on a small dose of medicine to helps it further.

    Not sure to stop medicine because need to ask doctors first, but I know that some superfood such as blueberries and hawthorn can help lower  blood pressure and protect against atherosclerosis.

    i'll avoid medication if your diet/ exercise can control it, as this will become chronic
