Eating a lot of oily, greasy foods—especially those high in bad fats like trans fats and saturated fats—can raise your blood pressure. These fats can clog your arteries, making it harder for blood to flow, which increases pressure. Plus, many oily foods are loaded with salt, which directly pushes up blood pressure.
On the other hand, healthy fats from things like olive oil, avocados, and fish can actually be good for your heart when eaten in moderation. So, it’s more about choosing the right kinds of fats.

I think chips and crisps aren't good for blood pressure as they raise blood sugar which in turn raises fat stores.  This can have a detrimental effect on Blood Pressure.  Also, they're usually covered in salt which is also not supposed to be good for BP.

Salt is worse for blood pressure than fat. And if he's eating so many calories overall that he's getting obese, that is also a risk factor. Those are the main reasons why chips may contribute to high blood pressure.

Saturated fat can also be a risk, but unsaturated fat can reduce the risk of high blood pressure. So not all fat is bad. And exercise will lower the risk for high blood pressure. Depending on the balance of chips and exercise, his habit may be fine.

Yes, eating lots of snacks like chips, which are high in salt and unhealthy fats, can contribute to high blood pressure. While regular exercise is important, a diet high in salt and unhealthy fats can still pose risks. Balanced eating habits are crucial for maintaining healthy blood pressure.

Yes, eating greasy oily junk food can definitely contribute to high blood pressure! Saturated fat is terrible for your body. Choose a diet filled with fruits and vegetables and you'll be much better off!
