I think it can! Sometimes there are other chronic diseases at play along with high blood pressure, such as obesity. These diseases have strong relationships with poor mental health in parallel to not so good physical health.

I definitely think so, just the fact I'm struggling to improve the pressure over the years and having to take my pills everyday is stressful enough.

It depends on who we are talking about. I mean if you have a will power to work it out even if u have high blood pressure the mental will be good and would affect the other way if you don't.

I'm not a medical expert so this answer is all based on my opinion. I would say yes. High blood pressure affect a person's mental health. It can cause a person to think too much which leads to more stress.

20.18 - high blood pressure can affect mental health. High blood pressure can damage blood vessels in the brain that are responsible for cognition and memory, which can increase the risk of developing Alzheimer's disease or other dementia.

20.19 - One of the common symptoms of an elevated blood pressure is facial flushing which can make people sweat more. Sweating more leads to an increased body temperature and elevated cortisol levels, causing severe mood swings, and may lead to an elevated level of anger.

Absolutely! High blood pressure or also known as hypertension most likely doesn't show symptoms or signs, but moderate or severe headaches or anxiety can stem from hypertension. Unfortunately, untreated hypertension can lead to a stroke, which will definitely affect one's mental health in cognition and during recovery.
