calambres en las piernas

Acabo de terminar un turno de noche de ocho horas en el trabajo. Tengo calambres en las piernas. ¿Alguien tiene alguna sugerencia para evitarlos?

20.58 - From the Cleveland Clinic:
•Stretch: Straighten your leg and then flex it, pulling your toes toward your shin to stretch the muscles. Stretch the cramped muscle, and gently rub. For a thigh cramp, try pulling the foot on that leg up toward your buttock. Hold on to a chair to steady yourself.
•Massage: Use your hands or a roller to massage the muscles.
•Stand: Get up. Press your feet against the floor.
•Walk: Wiggle your leg while you walk around.
•Apply heat: Use a heating pad or take a warm bath.
•Apply cold: Wrap a bag of ice in a towel and apply it to the area.
•Take pain medications: Take ibuprofen or acetaminophen to help with the pain.
•Elevate: Prop up your leg after the cramp starts to feel better.

      20.60 - prevent leg cramps
      • taking magnesium and/or a vitamin B complex • staying well hydrated
      • stretching while you are standing. If able, set a reminder on your phone every hour to flex your toes and do heel raises to flex those leg muscles
      • having well developed hip muscles can help so that they support your weight instead of your legs
      • stretch your legs, do gentle yoga, take a short walk before bed to stretch and relax leg muscles

20.61 - I sincerely hope some of this works for you. After my car accident and being in a wheelchair for awhile, when I first returmed to standing and working as a cashier (standing for 4 hours at a time) I have leg cramps every night. It is truly awful to go through.

20.62 - As a last resort, get a bar of Ivory soap and put it between your sheets at the foot of your bed. I don't know what kind of voodoo that is supposed to do but it is an old wive's tale my mom used to tell me. It didn't work for me but maybe you will have better luck? I believe it must be a bar of Ivory soap for whateverarketing reason 😵‍💫

I've heard drinking pickle juice helps. I've seen athletes use it for relief from cramps.
