21.22 - Mothra

Esta es una polilla luna. Parece que un pájaro la ha devorado 🙁. La polilla luna es la polilla más grande de Norteamérica, con una envergadura promedio de 7,5 a 10 cm. Las polillas luna prefieren vivir en bosques caducifolios y tienen una amplia distribución que abarca la mitad oriental de Norteamérica. Su hermosa coloración les sirve de camuflaje entre las hojas de los árboles donde viven.
