I am not a fan of deer but she is pretty.
I went to Italy over the summer and found these beautiful deer sitting in the shade. I saw other people petting the deer so I decir d to try getting close and they let me pet them. It was such a beautiful moment and hope something like this happens agian.

I don't recommend petting nor feeding wildlife. From what I have heard and read, petting deer makes them more susceptible to predators, especially fawns. Fawns are born with very little if no scent for a few weeks and the mothers will leave them in the wild for a few hours. Petting them puts your scent on them and they are more likely to be hunted than not.
