Ear hooks for eyeglasses

I've been running quite a lot lately and, up until now, I've had to put up with the sun in my face quite a lot because I was worried about my sunglasses falling off.

So, I bought a set of ear hooks. These are little rubber pieces which attach to the stems of the glasses and fit behind the ear.

I took them for a whirly today and they worked great. They held the glasses on nice and snugly, and were very comfortable.

Unfortunately, it wasn't very sunny out when I was running today, so I felt a bit silly wearing my sunglasses to begin with.

The item I ordered also came with some straps, which would serve the same purpose.

I modeled both the straps and the hooks for my wife, and she liked the ear hooks better as they are less obvious.

Now, for my next test - wearing my sunglasses while swimming. (I already do this, but worry about them falling off.)

I'm glad you found a solution for keeping your sunglasses on. I had a dream last night I was swimming laps wearing sunglasses instead of goggles. I never considered why the stayed on. Weird dream.

Ha ha. I usually wear goggle when swimming laps, but I'll wear sunglasses when just hanging out in a pool or a beach.

I will often wear sunglasses when it is cloudy because I still find it to be too bright for me. However, this morning was not like that. I really didn't need to wear them today, but I wanted to test out the new hooks.

Yes, protect the eyes from the harmful rays from the sun.

Agreed. I'm only sorry that I didn't get something like this sooner.
