I am not a fan of deer but she is pretty.
Je suis allé en Italie cet été et j'ai trouvé ces magnifiques cerfs assis à l'ombre. J'ai vu d'autres personnes les caresser, alors j'ai décidé d'essayer de m'approcher et ils m'ont laissé les caresser. C'était un moment magnifique et j'espère que cela se reproduira.

I don't recommend petting nor feeding wildlife. From what I have heard and read, petting deer makes them more susceptible to predators, especially fawns. Fawns are born with very little if no scent for a few weeks and the mothers will leave them in the wild for a few hours. Petting them puts your scent on them and they are more likely to be hunted than not.
