If the phone is personally not on you, it does not track. I learned today that I have my Apple Watch on my wrist and I didn’t have my iPhone on me my Apple Watch tracked every bit of my steps, but my Cashwalk is connected and linked to my watch. I went to go check my Cashwalk to cash in my points and it did not log all of my steps it only gave me 341 so yes, it will not give you all your steps.
