Les Holdovers - Mingle avec l'événement CashWalk #10

J'ai vu ce film il y a un mois. Même si je ne m'en souviens pas en détail, j'ai adoré. Je compte le revoir.

Mingle with cashwalk event #10 - In the movie, it was a great emotional support to each other when the Holdovers spending 2 weeks of holiday season together. Wasn't it a pure inner mind to bond together in the white community with snow covered winter, cold but pure? How do you think?

Mingle with cashwalk - In the movie, The Holdovers, the kitchen manager Mary's character is very impressive. She scolded Paul Hunham for not treating Agnut Tully. I like her character.

Mingle with CashWalk - When 4 Holdovers left on a helicopter, Agnus was left on the snow covered campus with Paul, supervising teacher, Mary, kitchen manager and Danny, janitor. It looks like Agnus dominated the entire campus as one man kingdom having the necessary staff.

Mingle with cashwalk - in the Holdovers, Mary sympasized with Agnus who was left behind. As such, Mary also felt left behind saying "he's gone" in tears at the Lydia Crane's party. Mary saw Agnus missed his family at the peak of holiday vacation as she missed her son at the jouous party who died serving the country as a soldier. What a comparison Mary must have felt!

Mingle with cashwalk - I also had an experience staying on the campus during academic breaks with only a number of people.

I'm trying to feel what Agnus and Mary were going through. They must have been scared of something "aching to cut them loose."

Mingle with Cashwalk - Paul Hunham and Agnus Tully have a very close relationship. They share their secrets in the past. Paul told Agnus about his Harvard college period being kicked out, and never completed the college work. Tully told Paul about his parents, especially, he misses his father who is in some sort of facility due to his mental disorder. So, now they became close friends rather than teacher and student relationship. This relationship results in Paul's sacrifice for Agnus telling a "lie."

Mingle with cashwalk event #10 - Paul Hunham is leaving his lifetime job, his only job, after saving Agnus Tully from going to Fork Union military school. Paul helped Agnus remain at Barton by telling a lie that is against his strong belief and teaching that "Barton men don't lie." Will it be a mismatch of theory and practice? Is it a discrepancy between them? IS IT?
