Je mets ça dans la nourriture des animaux parce qu'il y a des poissons dans ce petit étang. Vous ne les voyez probablement pas, alors croyez-moi ! 😆 Nous avons aménagé ce petit étang principalement pour cultiver des lentilles d'eau et des jacinthes d'eau, qui serviront de nourriture à nos canards. 🦆❤ Nous envisageons aussi d'y cultiver du cresson (ce qui servira de nourriture aux humains).

If you check YouTube for stuff like "backyard ponds" or "patio ponds" you'll find all sorts of videos (I'll have to make one eventually lol). This one is just using a foldable kiddie pool from Amazon.

They're called "mosquito fish"! They're native to North America but invasive in other parts of the world. They're sold often for ponds to keep them from becoming a mosquito breeding ground (because they eat the mosquito larvae).

Do you find random wild animals gathered around?

I haven't actually seen them visiting the pond, but there are a few cats that hang out in the yard sometimes, at least one groundhog living under a tree stump, and just today I saw a few deer in the yard. I've seen and heard frogs nearby, but not actually in the pond.
