It's about a bunch of kids whose houses have adjoining backyards (hence the name). Every day, they would get together and have imaginary adventures together in the big backyard.

Mes enfants l'ont apprécié quand ils étaient petits et ma femme et moi avons aimé le regarder avec eux.
Beaucoup d’autres émissions étaient ennuyeuses ou gênantes, mais celle-ci était agréable.

The song was catchy but I never really got into it with my kids. We watched a lot of PBS. They are 20, 19,, 17 and 14 now.
