From the US here and I've never heard of that before Maybe it is a UK thing but that is really interesting!
As kids you held a buttercup under your friends chin to see if they liked butter? My mom always did this and I did the same with my kids. Reading this back it's sounds mental! Surely we weren't the only ones ??? A UK thing? Or just a Midlands thing?
