Hunting at Roadside III #5

Primrose is a familiar wildflower of banks and verges. It blooms mostly during the spring, with flowers often appearing in purple, yellow, red, pink, blue, or white.

Primrose flowers are refreshing and sweet and the young leaves can be used as a green vegetable or in salads. They can also be used in conserves, custards, mousses, tarts or other desserts and confections.
