Hunting at Roadside IV #9

Japanese Snowball (Viburnum plicatum) is a wonderful, white, lacecap-like flowers on horizontally tiered branches in May. Flowers are pollinated in April to May and become small fruit in the fall.

The deeply veined, dark-green leaves of Japanese snowballs are attractive, and create dense foliage in summer. They turn yellow, red, or purple in autumn, then drop, revealing the shrub’s interesting branching structure in winter.

Che bei fiori delicati. Il bianco ti dà sempre quella sensazione di purezza e tranquillità.

E anche le foglie. Diventano gialle, rosse o viola in autunno.
