Yesterday, I stuck my new weighted vest into my backpack and tried rucking with it. (Walking with a heavy backpack.)
I didn't have a car but had a few things that I wanted to get done (lunch, haircut, etc...) and ended up going about 12km with the extra weight (20lbs) on my back.
