My favorite home gym equipment is my weighted hula hoop. I purchased this year's ago from my local curves fitness Center. They offered different weights, I got the 5 pound one. It is filled with water and it makes it easier to hold up when hula hooping. I usually hula hoop for about 30 minutes several times a week. If you're first starting do you less time until your Midriff builds up a tolerance , otherwise it can be painful. Experts say that using a weighted hula hoop can burn 7 cal a minute. That's about the same as Step aerobics, Boot Camp, workouts, and Kickboxing. So if you're interested, you should give a weighted hula hoop a try.
