Calming down can be stressful and exageratted when others tell you to do so.
I find the best way to calm down when feeling sad, angry or left out is to watch a horror movie because it makes you worry about the movie rather than your issues. Its a good way to keep your head off of the negative things. Although, you might be scared at night, just enjoy your favorite show afterwards.
