The worst fear when I land on UK

Probably the worst moment when I land in UK is when I'm on the cab and the driver reaches the first roundabout and he turns left.... my heart jumps and I'm always close to taking the wheel and force the driver to go right.

The worst fear when I land on UK

It is scary and after a moment of doubt, I remember I'm not in Europe where everybody (almost) drives on right.

It is only on those first roundabouts .... after that, my mind goes rational.

I always wondered if it is the same for British people when they arrive on Holidays to Spain or Italy.

Is it the same for you?

I live in a smallish u.s. city and we have 2 roundabouts now. We turn right and seems like no1 cares they jusy close their eyes , say a tiny prayer and accelerate

I'm sorry I can't understand why you say I'm American too. I was talking about the different way to drive in UK and the rest of Europe, especially in roundabouts.

We have loads of round abouts here in England I find it weird when I see everybody driving on the right side of the road 😂

Ah I never thought about how others would feel travelling to a place with different traffic rules and being at the 'wrong' side.

I was wondering if they British suffer the safe when they fly to the Continent. I assume is a common issue for both when people travel
